in a joint paper by IBM Watson Research and Ricoh Print. There are no dead zones, but much noise has been added throughout. The monochrome Lena test image was used at 512x512
The image on the right was produced with ScaleAbilities' Multi-phase screening and compensation of Patent 9,053,410. There
are also no dead zones, but screening noise is much lower, revealing more image detail.
